Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU gaming monitor by $50 on October 23, 2026. The 27-inch display now sells for $329.99. This price cut targets gamers looking to upgrade from IPS screens to OLED technology without exceeding a mid-range budget.
The monitor features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This resolution, often referred to as QHD or 2K, is designed to work efficiently with mid-range graphics cards. The system requirements are lower than those for 4K displays, allowing the hardware to maintain stable frame rates.
Performance specs focus on high refresh rates and fast response times. The screen operates at 240Hz with a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. These specifications reduce motion blur and eliminate the ghosting artifacts common on slower monitors. The panel also supports AMD FreeSync Premium, which synchronizes the refresh rate with the game's frame rate to prevent screen tearing.
Color accuracy represents the primary advantage of the QD-OLED technology. The display covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and maintains a Delta E accuracy figure below 2. It supports HDR10 and 10-bit color, which enhance contrast, depth, and brightness compared to standard dynamic range displays. The OLED backlight also produces deep blacks and high contrast levels.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. This configuration allows users to connect a gaming PC and multiple game consoles to a single screen. The monitor is available at Best Buy at the new price point for customers seeking an entry point into QD-OLED gaming displays.
