Marcus Theatres Gears Up for Brewers World Series with $5 Drafts and Film Screenings

Marcus Theatres is preparing watch parties and discounted concessions as the Milwaukee Brewers advance to the World Series, marking a moment the chain has awaited for decades. Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, said the company views its theaters as a gathering place for fans. "We've been waiting 44 years for a moment like this, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate alongside our Milwaukee community," Tomachek said.

The company first outlined its plans to mark the occasion. Marcus Theatres will screen two Milwaukee baseball documentaries: "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers." Screenings are scheduled at Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon, Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay, Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield, Marcus Hollywood Cinema and Marcus Valley Grand Cinema in Appleton, Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield in Waukesha, Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema in Menomonee Falls, Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant, Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema in Sheboygan, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek.

Concession deals at participating locations include $5 domestic drafts, $9 Game Time Lemonades, $10 medium pizzas, and appetizers at half price.

Watch parties are set for bars and lounges at several locations, including Movie Tavern Brookfield, Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield, Marcus Renaissance, Marcus Menomonee Falls, Marcus North Shore Cinema, and Marcus BistroPlex. The Wall at Gurnee Cinema is also participating.

A separate promotion runs for Magical Movie Rewards members. Members who watch a movie through Oct. 31 receive a voucher for one free Junior popcorn, redeemable from Nov. 4 through Nov. 24. New members can sign up for free before visiting to qualify.

Ticket prices, participating locations, screening dates, and showtimes are listed on the Marcus Theatres website and mobile app, according to information provided in a press release from the company.
