The Soundcore Space 2 noise-canceling headphones are currently priced at $106.49, marking the lowest cost recorded for the model since its release. As of October 23, this $23 discount is available at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. The sale covers all three available color options for the product.

The Space 2 serves as the successor to the Space One, a model that The Verge's John Higgins identified as a top-tier budget option in 2023. While the newer unit carries a list price that is $30 higher than the original, the current promotion narrows that gap. The hardware retains the core design philosophy of its predecessor while introducing specific technical upgrades.

Active noise cancellation represents the primary functional improvement in the new line. The updated drivers suppress low-frequency sounds more effectively than the previous generation. This adjustment is particularly noticeable when filtering out noise generated by trains and airplane engines. Soundcore also modified the internal design to produce a more accurate audio profile compared to the original release.

The headphones maintain several features that established the value of the initial model. They support high-resolution LDAC audio and include the HearID 3.0 tool. This software personalizes the listening experience by adjusting audio output based on user responses to specific sound samples. Battery life has also increased, offering up to 50 hours of playback with noise cancellation enabled. With the feature turned off, the device runs for 70 hours, an increase from the previous model's 55 hours.

Physical connectivity options remain available for users who prefer wired audio. The unit includes a 3.5mm jack, allowing it to function without a battery charge. The headphones also feature an auto-pause function that stops playback when removed from the head. This allows listeners to step away and resume their content at the exact same point.
