The nine-year run of Brutique ended in July, clearing the way for a new occupant at 648 Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg. Ice & Cream Creamery will occupy the 1,500-square-foot space, marking the company's expansion into the city's core.
This shop will be the eighth location for the local chain. The existing network spans seven stores across Pinellas County. Those sites include two on Clearwater Beach and single locations in Madeira Beach, Dunedin, St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and Gulfport.
The menu features 48 flavors made in small batches with locally sourced ingredients. Classic options include butter pecan, rocky road, cookies and cream, and mint chip. More complex varieties are red velvet cake, salted caramel peanut, and coconut almond fudge.
Specific pricing sets the cost of a single scoop at $4.97. A double scoop costs $7.97, and a triple scoop is $11.97. Customers can add toppings like Reese's peanut butter cups, Oreos, Nutella, and gummy bears for an additional 97 cents.
The shop also serves hand-spun milkshakes for $6.50, ice cream floats, and Twisters, a thick frozen treat similar to a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Dietary accommodations include gluten-free items and sugar-free vanilla, chocolate, and mint chip.
The creamery has not yet announced a specific opening date for the new Central Avenue location.
