Tanner McKee will start at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles as they host the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. The matchup is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field. Both teams enter the game seeking to stop losing streaks that have dragged their records to 2-4.
The Eagles are without starter Jalen Hurts due to blood clots. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith is also out with a hamstring injury. McKee will step in again after completing 26 of 45 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown in Week 6. Philadelphia lost that game 25-14 to the Carolina Panthers.
Dallas arrives from a 23-13 loss at Green Bay. The Cowboys are also dealing with injury issues. Running back Saquon Barkley is listed as questionable with a hamstring issue, though he is expected to play. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 258 yards and one touchdown against the Packers. He had two interceptions, though a third was nullified by a penalty.
Betting markets list Dallas as a 4.5-point favorite for the contest. The total points line is set at 43.5. SportsLine, a betting model that simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, projects the Under to hit. The model notes the Under has landed in four of the last five meetings between these two teams.
The Eagles have struggled to score this season, averaging 17.7 points per game. That places them tied for 28th in the league. Dallas has also been held under 20 points in its last two games. The Cowboys are 1-2 on the road, while Philadelphia is 1-2 at home.
The all-time series leans toward Dallas, which leads 75-59. However, Philadelphia has won three of the last four matchups between the clubs. The SportsLine model, which is 58-48 on top-rated picks since 2024, suggests the combined score will stay near the 43-point mark.
The game marks Week 7 of the 2026 NFL season. Both teams are trying to reset their trajectories in the NFC East. The Eagles have lost four straight games, while the Cowboys have dropped two in a row.
